Three of the most famous names in golf designed Chamisa Hills Country Club, a private club that accepts non-members via the GolfNow.com reservations system. Gene Sarazen, Lee Trevino and Desmond Muirhead executed distinctly different nines at this rolling property west of Albuquerque. Originally laid out as a parkland course, Chamisa Hills has reduced irrigated acreage and now plays as a tighter target-golf layout. Guests are welcome to spend the day at the club and use its facilities, which include range, tennis courts, swimming pool, locker rooms, restaurant, lounge and card/billiard room.
