The Raton Municipal Golf Course is a 9-hole course nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains with gorgeous view of majestic New Mexico mesas. Play within sight of wildlife, including deer, wild turkey and an occasional red fox. This parkland-style course is fun and challenging. Several fairways provide the long-distance bomber an opportunity to blast away, but be sure to bring your short game to score. Tee-times generally not required. Beginners welcome. A cool respite during summer heat. Just off Interstate 25 at the Colorado border.
